Four Bridges Art Show

The First Tennesee (Bank) Pavillion
The name comes from the four bridges that bridge downtown over the tennessee river. One of which is the worlds longest walking-only bridge (which I find hard to believe since it seems short). This is what my mom wanted to do for mother's day so we all piled into the minivan, and went on our merry way. Parking was packed and we parked way back from the pavillion which I remember as cricket pavillion though now its First Tennessee. Even though cricket was no longer the name sponsor, they still managed to have thier signiture green couches with ads in the pavillion.

no one I know, just a candid shot of a random person (I like those)
We wondered around and it was so crowded everyone was moving in herds and ducking into booths when they reached one they wanted to look at, unless it was full then they kinda bumbed into the people who were outter most in the booth and those people either joined the herd and moved on or rejected the bumber's "request" to be allowed in, an interesting ritual indeed.

a metallic art dinosuar with which I was very impressed (I was crazy about dinos in my young age)
We actually ran into a booth that was run by an artist my who is a brother of one of my dad's bandmates (how's that for a nice FOAF title?).

the candle holder my mom bought from him, but it seems like a plate to me

my favorite art booth and it was actually clear of people so I could take a picture!
I found the following peculiar at an art show because it was food, and didn't seem too artistic.

sign reads "Prospect Hill Farms," forgive my poor photo skills

Towards the back of the pavillion they had a live string quartet playing, though it appeared no one was listening closely and enjoying it.

More of the food was this booth selling "pepper jellies" which were actually jellies with pepper in them! Interesting. My mom purchased a bottle (though I can't remember what kind off the top of my head). I'll "review" it later. There were so many varieties!

they all look so sweet and delicious

pepper jelly (of what variety I forget) and cream cheese for sampling, though I refrained because I didn't see with what I should sample it on

some nice pictures
I know I need to add a comment link to my style sheet, so I'll do that tomorrow, its bed now and school tomorrow :( later!
