Preemptive strike on Hamilton Place Mall with Sam

Sam and I went to the mall to retrieve the new "Rock Against Bush" CD and generally goof off. There was much goofing off to commence.
The "Tennessee Vols Caravan" was in town and it was the radio announcer, Bob Kesling, for the Vols along with Phillip Fulmer (the head coach of the football team) and "Buzz" Peterson (the head coach of the basketball team). If you're wondering, this is the University of Tennessee Vols, and Vols is short for Volunteers because Tennessee is "The Volunteer State". Naturally I had to get autographs and pictures with, but due to the embarrassing nature of the pictures I took with each "celeb", they won't be posted.
But most of all, they brought along every one's favorite mascot, smokey! Sam and I were standing in line to get autographs when disaster struck and Sam got hungry. Without much thinking, Sam lept into action and the following occurred:

Smokey was particularly miffed by this action, as he didn't consider himself an afternoon snack. He responded by doing this:
smokey was heard grumbling something to the effect of "this isn't china bitch..."
After that episode we needed to relax, so we headed to the KB Toy Store.
what does KB stand for? Kill Boys? King Blueberry? Kaleidoscope Bongs?
Inside I noticed a little dog that would walk around and then do a back flip. I wanted to get a picture mid-flip.

when I noticed these, I felt that kids were getting lazy, when I was a kid, we built star wars lego things with out special pieces!

We proceeded to ride the escalator up to the second floor.

We had to stop at Sanrio Surprises because Sam noticed the girl working there, and well, if you know Sam, you know his affinitiy for the asian ladies.
I know I was surprised
Sam is a nervous nelly around girls, but I convinced him to get a picture with her. When we approached her she seemed really reluctant, which I wouldn't blame her. It can be darn scary when two guys are asking to take your picture and you've never seen them before in your life. But I explained I just wanted it for my journal. She decided that was okay. I got her name on the way out. She said it was Minjee (or Min Jee?). Thanks Min Jee! I'm sure Sam will make me take him back again soon.

On the way out, I noticed this mug. How cool is that? A cutely illustrated coffee mug that tells you how to bake cookies! I think I'll try to bake them sometime.

I must say after that afternoon of mall-time fun, we were worn out! I can't find the pepper jelly pictures, but as soon as I do, I'll post that.
