Debate Opinion
I was so dissapointed in the debates last night. I am particularly dissapointed with Bush's performance. He represented his position poorly, though Kerry did also, it was just to Kerry'd benefit.Foxnews has a great article that points out inacuracies on both sides [foxnews.com]. I'm glad someone's pointing how poorly the facts were treated.
This story [news.com.au] points out that there were protesters at the debate. So what? There's protesters at my shower, but that doesn't mean anything. Protestors aren't news. Maybe protestors are news to the aussies? who knows?
Bloomberg has an article on how the N. Korea issue took a center stage [quote.bloomberg.com] in the debate. I found this interesting because here is a clear difference getting shown to the public directly. I like President Bush's stance [joongangdaily.joins.com] that re-initiating bilateral talks would dissolve the 6-way talks with China and Russia amoung others and would make our allies in that quickly lose interest in helping us.
I sure hope Bush steps up to the plate on domestic issues. Kerry is stealing Iraq away.
I apologize that this blog is becoming utterly political, but the times are urgent. If you are going to 18 before Nov. 2 in Tennesse, register [rockthevote.com] now. The deadline is Oct. 3!
