You can burn Ramen

Yes. There it is. A pan of burnt ramen. Bet you didn't know it could be done!

I should of used a pot, something shallower. Because I used the specified 550 ml water and I let it boil for the required 5 minutes and I get a kitchen smelled with smoke.

To top that off, I go into the kitchen and breathe the smoke. No big deal, usually. The only problem is that the seasoning contained Capsicum. The Smoke mady my nostrils and throat burn like crazy! Well, they still do, actually, but only a little.

Sounds like you inadvertently made a nice pan of Singapore-style crispy noodles!

You can figure out a website, but can't boil water - sheesh!

Deeper...thats what I meant. And I usually follow the water instructions because if I get to much, then the broth flavor is all thinned out. Too little, too thick...

You should've used something deeper, like a pot. I never follow the directions on how much water. I just fill up a pot with a substantial amount, let the noodles boil to my liking, pour some of the water off if it's too much, then add the seasoning.
