The Day After Tomorrow: Prez Candidates, start your engines

I'd encourage everyone to pick up the latest issue of CQ Weekly, or if you want to subscribe to their website you can read the information there.

On the cover are the words "The Day After Tomorrow" as well as pictures of 26 potential presidential candidates (13 Democrats & 13 Republicans). There is an article that mentions the importance of the upcoming 2008 Presidential race, duemainly to the fact that there is no Incumbent President or Vice-President seeking the position. First time for that since 1928.

It's also the first time there are potential female, african-american, or even female african-american candidates.

All I know is that its going to be a long and fun two years. A momentuous time, and a moment in history for whomever wins. I also know that now is the time to be looking at the candidates and deciding who you want to vote for in the primary elections. There's a lot to choose from so start reading up. Then get out there and campaign.
