Kerry Can't Follow the Rules!

So the Kerry Campaign plans on CHEATING at tonight's debate! They know that Kerry is so long winded that he can't shorten his answers to the required limit. This foxnews.com article [foxnews.com] tells what they wanted to do.

Advisers for the Democratic presidential candidate demanded Thursday that the lights signaling when a speaker's time has expired during debates with President Bush be removed from the lecterns because they are distracting. The commission hosting the debates refused.

So they want to make it easier on their man by making harder for the public to know that he's breaking the time limit! I hope the Kerry campaign knows they already agreed to the timers!

"We'll do what we have to," Kerry strategist Tad Devine (search) said after his meeting with the commission.

Does this mean they're willing to cheat in order to accomplish their goals? This story [kfmb.com] makes even more clear just how badly the Democrats are chomping at the bit to get power.

"We'll bring a screwdriver," said a Kerry aide familiar with what several people called an angry exchange. The commission did not return a call seeking comment.

Wow, that answers my question.

ESPN showing Tennessee the love?

I went to ESPN.com's College Football page and found a flurry Tennessee articles.

The first one I noticed was called Bear Hunting. It's about how Phillip Fulmer should be considered an SEC ledgend, or at least he's on track to be one. Here's a quote:

The man is the nation's leading active coach in terms of winning percentage (.805), with at least eight victories every year and a gaudy national championship ring from 1998.

The man is the nation's leading active coach in terms of winning percentage (.805), with at least eight victories every year and a gaudy national championship ring from 1998. Another great article is Neyland's a Nightmare. It's by coaches who are on ESPN's staff that have taken teams into Tennessee's hallowed stadium. To Quote:

First of all, it is a flashy kind of a feel when you play in Knoxville, but particularly when you play there at night. Not only was there a fever pitch, but the crowd was educated. They knew that they were a factor...

I just love compliments! Lol... There are also two other articles, but you have to have an Insider Subscription to view them. They are here and here. If you have an Insider account on ESPN.com, would you please open those, and [[REDACTED]] the text? If you can, THANKS! I am so pumped for this game. Both ESPN Gameday TV and Gameday Radio are going to be there.

Liar Liar, Michael Moore Sucks

So there he is....so deceiving.  He almost looks nice in that picture.  Surely you know his name.  Yes its Michael Moore.  The hated, the disputed, the ridiculous, the sad.

I mean, we haven't heard from this guy in a while.  I thought after the movie buzz died that we were through hearing from his obnoxious mouth for at least a little while.  After dealing with all the bull he set forth in his movie, we were overdue for a break.  All he did was yak about how Bush has these dangerous and suspect ties to the Saudis and  How he gave flights to them to get them out after 9/11 (Dick Clark your very source did that you devilish spinster).

Now, we're having to hear from his moronic beak again.  He is now busy squawking away at the nation's places of education.  That's right.  He is speaking at the very places that you spend tens of thousands to have you children educated and filled with ideas and knowledge, not littered with faulty notions and lies.

He's even started this tour with a high school!  A high school!!  If he came to my high school, I would heckle his head off!  Now I'm sure, you're asking yourself, how is this allowed.  What beacons of knowledge and education are allowing him to use their facilities?  Here's The list:

Sunday, September 26th
Elk Rapids High School - Peterman Auditorium Elk Rapids, Michigan

Monday, September 27th Ferris State University - Wink Arena Big Rapids, Michigan & Central Michigan University - Rose Arena Mt. Pleasant, Michigan

Tuesday, September 28th University of Michigan -- Dearborn Dearborn, Michigan

Wednesday, September 29th Wayne State University - Gullen Mall Detroit, Michigan THIS SHOW IS SOLD OUT! & University of Michigan - Hill Auditorium Ann Arbor, Michigan THIS SHOW IS SOLD OUT!

Friday, October 1st University of South Florida - SEC Auditorium Tampa, Florida (live simulcast on campus radio and television)

Saturday, October 2nd University of Central Florida Orlando, Florida & Florida State University - Ruby Diamond Auditorium Tallahassee, Florida

Sunday, October 3rd University of Central Arkansas - Reynolds Performance Hall Conway, Arkansas

Monday, October 4th University of Florida - Stephen C. O’Connell Center Gainesville, Florida

Wednesday, October 6th Carnegie Mellon University - Hamerschlag Mall Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania & Dickinson College - Kline Center Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Thursday, October 7th Washington University - Pageant Center St. Louis, Missouri

There you see it.  The list of colleges (and a high school) that are allowing the butt-end of the political spectrum to fill their students' heads with the worst bull ever.  These are the schools that you should try at all costs to avoid.  Parents, don't pay these schools and more money.  Students, find a better place, any place is better than these trashy halls that were once called colleges.  But the worst part isn't even that he's telling the lies he pushed in his movie.

Now he's telling college students that George Bush himself, if re-elected, will re-enact the draft to get more soldiers.  First of all, a president cannot re-enact the draft.  It has to be a bill in congress.  Second, there is a bill to re-enact the draft in the house, but its not republicans who sponsored it!  It was none other than Rep. Charles B. Rangel who sponsored the Universal Service Act of 2003.  There's also one in the Senate but it's been introduced by a Democrat as well.  Sen. Ernest F. Hollings (D-S.C.) has introduced that one.

So here you see another Michael Moore lie exposed.  The truth has again shown this leftist demagogue to be just that.  Not a leader.  Not an exposer of lies.  Not someone who is a revolutionary showing us the atrocities of the government.

So get real, get facts, (register) and vote! (FOR GEORGE BUSH!)

Peach Roses

looks double exposed

That's my girlfriend up there.
That's the girl I hurt so deeply.
That's the girl I'll never be able to help feel good again.

That's why I'm useless now.
That's why I'm so distant now.
That's why I'm so separated.

I can't do anything and its tearing me apart on the inside. This is my price I guess. It's the heaviest to come of this mistake.

I'm not going to quit though.
She's too much to quit on.
She doesn't deserve to be quit on.
I don't want to quit on her.

Tennessee 30 Florida 28 = Best Game Ever

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of attending the best game I had ever been to at Neyland stadium. I also brought my camera!

I get in free to every home game because I work in the Knoxville Girls' Soccer Team's concession stand. The good part is I only have to work before the game, and at half time, so I get to go watch the game. No seats, but hey, its free!

We usually arrive 3 hours before the game, and its cool because the stadium is practically empty. I got some pics of the stadium empty. It's impressive.

the traditional checkerboard endzone

the field and the jumbo-tron on the far end

the luxery boxes

At the concession stand, I am usually in charge of drinks. It's a hard job just to keep up with the demands on Coke. Fortunately I had a piece of good news when I got to the stand. They didn't need us. So we were in the stadium early and free of responsibility!

the stand I work in

From here, we headed to a ramp that went along the gate where the "Vol-Walk" takes place. This is where the streets are lined with fans and the players walk down to the stadium. It's simply amazing.

you can see the L-shape through which the team proceeds.

the Pride of the Southland Marching Band warms the crowd up

the team was proceeded by these harley-mounted cops

this mascot was behind the cops

The camera I was using had an awesome feature that took 5 continuous shots...I took some of the flag guy waving the flag.

the team was led by the head coach, Phillip Fulmer

you can pick out the players as the people who are wearing suits

this player gets a hug from an obviously enthusiastic fan (maybe mom?)

more players making their way

running backs coach, Trooper Taylor

he's probably more excited than any player.

We went inside the stadium to find a friend of ours, John Warren. He managed the concession stand I work in last year.

he's working the sidelines now, he was in charge of the visitor's mascot

Ice Creap...lol

After seeing John, we headed to the end of the stadium to watch the band enter.

the band is on the right, preparing to march into the stadium

the lead of the band

the flag corps

left, right, left, right, left, right...

a sea of orange

After the band made its way in, we headed over to sit in the stands and watch the teams warm up. I took another continuous shot of the kicker kicking field goals.

I thought this reflection off of my dad's glasses looked cool

After a while, the teams got dressed and continued warming up, afterwards, they hyped up in a huddle.

Go Vols!

boooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

After that the teams headed in until before kickoff. Soon the band began its pre-game show.

the drum major and the drumline

they marched down the field

then marched back the other way

formed a U on top of a T

marched downfield and formed the "Power T"

came back and spelled USA while playing "Stars and Stripes Forever"

They then formed a hollow T with the base at the locker-room tunnel and the top going from sideline to sideline. The moment culminated when the team ran through the T to take the sideline. The crowd goes crazy at this point.

led by that flag-waving mascot and cheerleaders

players and coaches making their way

I wish I could explain just how exciting this is, when all the crowd is roaring and the stadium is shaking and your team is taking the field just before the biggest game in the regular season. I wish I knew what to say to make everyone reading this feel the way I did when I was there experiencing the whole thing.

I didn't really get any pictures of the football game action, I was far too into it to be concerned with shooting pictures.

It was such an exciting game. I'll re-cap the ending. Florida scores a touchdown and extra point to go on top 28-21. We get the ball and go downfield and score a touchdown. With our kicker, the extra point is always a sure thing...we thought. He had never missed one out of 50 in his college career, but this would be his first. The score was Florida winning 28-27 with 3:25 remaining on the clock. We stopped Florida and they punted to about our 40. Our frosh Quarterback, Eric Ainge threw two good passes to move the ball downfield. We had no timeouts so we had to spike the ball. Out kicker came out to kick a 50-yard field goal. This was his chance to redeem himself. He kicks it, and from the yardline, it appears short, but it's not. It's good! The whole place goes crazy and the stadium feels like its in an earthquake, and its so loud. There were six seconds left on the clock but that didn't matter. We just had to kick to Florida without letting them get to the endzone. We did and we won. It was the most exciting game I've ever been to. I could not believe what took place that night.

War in Iraq = War on Terror

Any of you still fooling yourself into thinking that Saddam did not have any connection with Al-Qieda after the non-partisan 9-11 commision found that there was indeed a connection, need to read this article.

I've been recently addicted to

I've been recently addicted to Blogshares. I play it a lot. It's a fantasy economy in which blogs are the companys and you trade stock in the companies as well as ideas, which are the commodities the blogs create based on which industry they are voted into. Your blog may already be listed. You should join the game and claim it. Claiming your blog gives you an automatic 1000 shares in it. Cool stuff.

I miss my girlfriend a whole lot. I told her that I wanted her to come here for my birthday...but I don't really want her to waste her money doing that when she doesn't even have any holidays and it'd be a short visit...

Who am I?

First of all, I'd like to start off by saying, "How in the world are we already through the first four and half weeks of school?"

Hold on a sec.

Okay...now that we got that over with...

OH YEAH! I am getting 100's in all of my classes and a 101 in English as my progress report above shows.

It also shows that I'm brilliant. Mrs. Kilpatrick didn't know what she was doing to write that on my PR. J/K...I'm not letting that go to my head.

Band is still on there, but that should change very soon.

My Labor-Day Weekend

Sunday, my father and I went to the University of Tennessee Vols' first game of the season.  They were playing UNLV and won 42 to 17.  I was impressed with bothe the freshmen quarterbacks, though if I were choosing one based on that game, I would choose Brent Schaffer.

I spent the night at my Grandmother's house.  It wasn't terribly boring, so that was okay.

Came back Monday and that was pretty much a nothing day...just homework.

w00t for lame updates.

I'll take more pictures soon...just not much to shoot right now.

Sunday with My Girlfriend

Before she left, my girlfriend wanted to get somehting for her mom. Her mom likes scrap-booking, stamping, and that kind of stuff. There's a lot of shops that carry that kind of stuff at the Choo-Choo. We knew because my mom works at one of them. :)

The Choo-Choo is the old train station of Chattanooga. If you've ever heard the Glen Miller song Chattanooga Choo-Choo, thats where the name of the hotel comes from. The cars from the trainline have been changed into hotel rooms.

The building is U-shaped with the tracks (car-rooms on them) and a garden in the middle. The shops are around the rooms.

I liked this frame a lot

The Chattanooga Choo-Choo

an opperating trolly, I think it only goes forward and down the track, the room-cars as they go really far back

if you've ever had a moon-pie, you've enjoyed something from Chattanooga

there was not a sign near that could tell me who this man stealing my girlfriend was

this sign explains the historical significance of this place

Doing what I have to do

So yesterday I quit band. It's certainly general knowledge by now.

Everyone's main question is "Why?"

So I thought I would give it an answer.

Every year in band, its been a real struggle. I am willing to work my butt off every year. I want to be in a good band...what have done for all my time at central, is not a good band...it's not fun. Each year, I'd just tell myself, "The next year will be better." So my sophomore year comes around, and I get burned. Junior year, same thing. This year comes. I'm thinking this is it, I can tell. But yesterday during practice, it hit me. I could see it, we were already headed for another year like all the others.

At the moment, I had been given push-ups. Now there was nothing wrong with the push-ups and my section leader was in the right to give them to me. But as I was doing them, it hit me: This band is not even worth my push-ups. I realized that my hard work was just going to be met by disappointments.

I know you're thinking, "Get over yourself." I'm not as stuck-up as I sound...I'm just tired.

My Girlfriend is not Here

So it's been 3 days since my girlfriend left. What a long three days. I miss her a lot. It was hard to take her to the airport Monday night. Today she's moving into her dorm at UWL. She's probably there as I write this. I miss her a lot.

English Class Journal Entry #5

In English class we are required to do journal entries in a notebook and turn the notebook in twice a quater. The journal entries are required to be 3/4 of a page long minimum without maximum. There is a prompt, usually a question to which we respond. This is journal entry number 5, I just decided to start this.

Prompt: If you were given a million dollars with the stipulation that you have to use it on someone else, who would you use it on?

Entry: I would probably use it on my girlfriend to pay her medical bills. I also knows she wants cosmetic surgery on her ankle and that stuff. It would probably pay for that. I would want to get the things for her that would make her happy. It could probably be used to buy her a home here. That would be nice. And to pay off her student loans. And to pay back her mom. I wish I could do all these things for her. I know that the money isn't everything though, so I'm glad that I can at least give her love and care.

I know...sorry for the mush...and sorry for no pictures.
